Becoming, Healing, and Leading in Real Time

I am often considered accomplished—therapist, supervisor, professor, leader.

What people don’t always see is how much regulation it takes for me to hold those spaces with confidence and care.

I’ve lived with perfectionism and imposter syndrome for most of my life. Not the kind that fades with credentials or titles, but the quieter kind that still asks, Do you really belong here?

For a long time, my sense of safety was tied to performance. Being competent, capable, or recognized felt like protection.

But those questions didn’t start in my professional life.

They started much earlier.
